The Coca Cola Museum and Olympic Park
Again another early start and waffles for breakfast as well as a danish, juice, coffee and
fruit loops for the kids.
The weather is very misty / foggy in the morning and does not really clear until lunch time.
We head downtown to first visit the Coca Cola Museum and then see how we go.
Despite a detour due to road works and not the sat nav we find all day parking for $10 and only a short walk away.
The boys were quite taken to see the museum had just finished a delivery.
The museum mostly is full of memorabilia shown in different forms such as old marketing and theatres with feel good ads.
They had the Coca Cola polar bear which William got scared of henc he's missing from the photo.
Mum has refreshing brass one!
The museum is scattered with various decorated bottles that were used at the Atlanta Olympics.
Finally there is free tasting at the end which seems to give everybody the giggles probably due to co2 but the Tangawizzi got mum going and the boys into hyper drive as they raced from one dispenser to the other.
After the best part of 3 hrs we exited thru the gift shop which was quite large and reasonably priced.
By now we had to head off and find lunch and found a Subway near by as we were trying to have something a bit healthier than burgers and fries.
There is a park opposite the museum which was laid out again for the Olympics and is a pleasant place to stroll but was being set up for an event the following day so the were a lot of marquees and stages being erected.
We strolled into the downtown business area and found it to be quite quiet due to it being Saturday and apart from a few bar/eateries and no mall type shop there was little interest here so we headed back to the car and headed back to the motel and the pool.
